Adverse Habits and Oral Mucosal Lesions in Prisoners of Lucknow

Oral health is an integral part of general health. It has long been recognized that preventive oral care is important in the prevention of oral diseases, which also has significant impact on general health [1-7]. Lower literacy rate and poor socioeconomic status together contribute to bad conditions of the oral health [811]. The situation in India is not different but showing the signs of improvement in health delivery system for general and oral health.
